Knowledge of the history of its territory is necessary for the formation of a civil position of a growing person, the upbringing of love for a small homeland.
In 2020 our village Fedorok turns 120 years old. This important event was dedicated to the evening-meeting with local lore “And the pages of the history of the region come to life,” held by librarians of the Fedorov Central District Library. The event was dedicated to the history of our small Motherland and the people living here.
Students of Fedorov Agricultural College were invited to an evening-meeting with local lore: Romanenko Valentine Joseph, Black Galina Nicholas. Children with interest listened to the story of local students about interesting events and facts taking place in the village at different periods. The video “Big Cities,” book exhibition “Fedorovsky District: Events, People” was shown.
Guys need to learn what they can love their edge for, why they can feel proud to live here, who are the people who glorified this place. These feelings will determine their careful and sensitive attitude towards their small homeland, as well as their desire to make it better.
